At the writing of this post, my cyclocross season has ended.  I competed in 8 races, from L.A. to San Diego, and I enjoyed the return to competition.  I finished 21st in the SoCal 'Cross Prestige Series for category C racers.  I did 2 races in the 45+ B category and scored 11 points from those races. If I applied those point to my C race points, I would have finished in 14th place in the series.  That's among 200+ guys throughout Southern California.  Not too bad for my first season of 'cross racing.  I've decided to go at this full force next season.  This ramping up of my goals, means I will do a few road races this Spring and Summer.  It's been 8-9 years since I've done a bike race.  I'm looking forward to that experience.

13 mile bike ride back home.  Mostly recovery pace.
