The confidence that the deadlift workout provided this morning was invaluable for the way lifting heavy loads felt for me. I now know that I can load up my hamstring without worry.

HQ has released the way they're going to inform the athletes what our workouts will be at the Games. They're going to give us about an hour before each workout to know what we'll be doing for each workout. They won't even tell us before hand how many workouts there will be. That's awesome. Very little time to plan out any pre-game recon. I also think it evens out the playing field more.

We were joined by Ian McHugh from CrossFit Mission Gorge for this afternoon workout. We all had a lot of fun with this traditional CrossFit workout. Another double tomorrow and a day of rest on Sunday. Next week will be the last week of over reaching workouts and then tapering from there. The goal is to go into the last week with all the confidence in the world with my preparation. Keep on keepin' on.
