This morning we took our workout outside to the local high school and played around on their patch and track. The warm up was a couple reps around the patch.
A.M. Workout:
400m Run (includes 3 trips up/down stadium stairs)
20 KB Swings 53#/35#
3 Rope Climbs 18'

Clean and Jerk - Heavy Single
Result: 93 Kg
Cleaned 98 Kg, but couldn't jerk it. This was the first heavy Oly lifting workout in over a week. The hamstring is all better. There was no signs of strain or pull during either workout, so I am going to resume my preparation for the Games at full tilt. I have to admit, the injury was playing games with my psyche. To me, I don't think there's any thing worse than going into a competition ill prepared. Now that the leg feels 100%, there won't be any stone left unturned to get me ready for Carson.
Damn I'm jealous!!! That wasn't working out. That was playing on a big kid's playground! I'm stuck in 100+ degree weather. Skipped work out. Wasn't motivated to hit the early am workout (9am). Missed my playground buddies I guess.
