Summer Is Here!

After a few days of rest, it felt real good to be back and I had the right group of training partners to get some serious work done. The hamstring is getting better. I only feel it doing any type of deadlifting....more on this later. The injury is not painful, it's just a strip of muscle that doesn't quite release and, therefore, I can't get much of muscle recruitment from the hamstrings. It's on the lateral portion, mid-way up the muscle and it just is an annoyance. I think with a couple more weeks of altering my workouts, I'll be 100%.

A.M. Workout:
Overhead Squat 5 X 3

Then.
20 Wall Ball
15 Pull Ups
10 Power Snatches 115#
5 OHS
3 times.

Results:
Paul 165#/12:10 Mod.
Newman 155#/10:54 Rx
Lisa 98#/11:21
Scott 215#/14:13 Rx
Don 175#/-2 Rds.
JoJo 195#/-

The workout was modified for me because the second pull of the power snatch got to my hammy. So, the last round was just 30 wall ball and 30 pull ups. The moment I started to speed up the snatches to catch Don and Scotty, it started to get aggravated. I stopped doing them as I was finishing the snatches and I did do the 5 OHS's of the second round. That was it for the hamstring today.

P.M. Workout:
Shoulder Joint Integrity Complex
1-5 HSPU/ Muscle Up Ladder

Result: 11:43

My shoulders were stiff from the A.M. workout, so I kept the pace at a steady pace.
